Chapter 10: Home Improvement

With two young boys in the house now it was time to build an additional bedroom for them. Space themed to Bobert's liking.

Though he seems to be developing new interests.

Going to have to watch out for him when he's a teenager.

Minerva's dreams come true.

Bunny's sculpting hobby has started bringing in some decent money to help afford the renovations.

Sadly our Jared look-a-like maid has been replaced.

Some other unexpected changes sprout in the meteor crater.

What the heck is it?

Where did it come from? Is this what those late night alien visitors have been up to?

Only one thing to do. Death by fire, guaranteed to work.

 Except when it doesn't.

Sandi thinks clothes are overrated.

She just wants to feel the music man.

I gift her a new car that suits her perfectly. She goes to the beach with it, hopefully wearing clothing now.

By the time she arrives the sunshine is replaced by golf ball size hail. That doesn't stop Sandi from enjoying the beach though.

To her delight, Parker and his family arrive shortly after her.

"He would make an excellent dead husband." she ponders.

They too are unphased by the bad weather.

Sandi pretends to leave only to instead creep in the bushes and stare at Parker's biceps.

The mystery weed grows at an accelerated rate in the rain.

By the next morning it has fully sprouted. Bob sees it first and is grateful Bobert is off to school.

"Bunny you better get out here!"

"You're not exactly as majestic as a Unicorn but you are interesting." Bob says.

"I think it's kind of cute." Bunny purrs.

Apparently this bovine plant creature is giving off some aphrodisiac pheromones.

OK, we can keep it.

Come on guys, use your own bed.

Molly likes the new family pet.

Don't lose your hand!

Minerva the hunting goddess.

She caught it, of course. The tail looks like its coming out of her nose.

Bobert goes home with Jenny Keaton after school to work on a math project together.

He also meets Corinna Alto. Jenny's brother is taken aback when he sees Bobert. Must be one of the clown haters from the protest. Not cool man.

Sandi has figured out where Parker works and stalks him until he gets off.

Then follows him to the library where she casually runs into him.

"So how do you like working at Doo Peas Corporate Tower?"

"How do you know where I work?"

"Umm your shirt has the business name on it silly" Sandi laughs nervously. That was close.

Bob Jr. is a toddler now. He conveniently inherited dad's white hair so I didn't have to change it for the roll he got. Decided on some face paint but not the full clown makeup for him.

Bobert is a good older brother.

 He's also fearless like Molly.

"Oh hey Jenny. Nothin, just playing with my pet cowplant. What are you up to?" This will totally get her to come over he muses.

The random event this chapter was to put a Cowplant in the front yard. I put it in the meteor crater instead for the story, close enough. It was a lot fun setting that up.

The new car for Sandi wasn't an event roll, I just felt like we needed another car and its perfect for her.

Outtakes:

Minerva's favorite place to sleep is next to Molly's bed, though I don't think the two of them have much of a relationship.

Cute picture of mom and daughter pillow fighting.

Molly running to catch the carpool in her Execute Chef uniform, with heels naturally.

Bob magically upgrading the stove for better quality meals. Molly will be pleased.
